CAMP ATTENDANCE POLICY

Nova 42 recognizes how important it is for a summer student to be present for all days of camp. Therefore, when a parent registers their child for a Nova 42 Summer Camp, they are attesting and promising that there is NO scheduling conflict and that their child will be present for ALL DAYS of CAMP, will arrive by 9:00am (except if camp starts at 9:30am), will not leave camp before it is done. Furthermore, if any student is found to have a pre-determined scheduling conflict but still registered f

Furthermore, the family will be permanently banned from Nova 42. Some examples of impermissible conflicts are:  trips that cut into the camp days and times; doctor appointments that cut into the camp days and times.  Any medical emergency or family emergency that is unforeseen and documented will not count towards this strict rule.

REFUNDS/CREDITS OF THE DEPOSIT (until 4/30/26)

To help you schedule camp(s) but also have flexibility if plans change, we are allowing refunds (minus an administrative fee of $20) for any reason between now and April 30, 2026 by 7:00pm so you can rest assured that you can register now, but drop until end of April for any reason.

REFUNDS/CREDITS (after 4/30/26)

From May 1, 2026 and on, our regular refund policy applies: no refunds except for documented medical or family emergencies or dissatisfaction with the teaching and curriculum (minus a $20 administrative fee). For dissatisfaction with the curriculum, a meeting is required and if a refund (minus a $20 administrative fee) is given under this prong, the student cannot return to Nova 42 in the future.

Also, no refunds for scheduling conflicts after May 1st; however, in such situations, credit towards the subsequent summer session in 2026 will be offered. Because our fall and spring semesters are by application only, no credits can be given for either semester unless the student is already an accepted and returning student for Fall 2026.
